This year, the picture chosen is of a young Rohingya refugee living in the Kutupalong refugee camp in the district of Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh. With a population of around 610,000 people, it is the largest refugee camp in the world.

This pamphlet briefly explains the roots causes of forced migration and calls on Canadians to take action and walk in solidarity with those forced to flee their homes.

The Action Card is our main call to action. It should be distributed and signed in large numbers to send a clear message to the Canadian government that it must do more to tackle the root causes of forced migration.

We are continuing to use this prayer, first launched in the fall, which was composed by Cardinal Luis Tagle, president of Caritas Internationalis, after having met forced migrants.
