Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Development and Peace THINK Fast will be hosted online!
THINK Fast is an interactive learning experience designed for youth. You can choose from a collection of activities and reflections that will help you and your group experience the challenges of poverty and injustice in concrete ways.
By participating in this 25-hour educational and fundraising fast you stand in solidarity with those in the Global South who need our support, through financial support and projects. By participating and donating to THINK Fast, you are taking a stand against oppression and directly supporting programs in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East that bring about peace, justice, and development.
Every Lent we raise funds through our Share Lent campaign to support integral human development projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. These projects help make communities more resiliant in facing times like these.
This year, I am raising funds for Development and Peace by participating in the first ever National THINKfast. People across Canada will be going without food from March 11 , 12
We will gather at different times online during the fast for prayer, song, social justice activities and games,
