This fall, we launched the Share the Journey campaign and invited Canadians to walk in solidarity with the 68.5 million forced migrants around the world. Many of you answered the call and our collective actions are adding up!
- More than 5,700 people have taken part in more than 95 walks across the country;
- More than 38,026 km have been traveled; and
- $25,000 has been raised by the solidarity walks!
And it's not over! We need your help to reach our goal: to walk 40,075 km, i.e. the equivalent of the circumference of the Earth.
Every step counts! You can organize a walk or join one in our region!
Here are some upcoming walks by province (from East to West):
Newfoundland and Labrador
Walks will take place in late spring or early summer. More info to come.
