Development and Peace congratulates Bishop Jensen on his ordination

Development and Peace would like to congratulate Most Reverend Stephen Jensen on his ordination and installation as the new Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Prince George.

Many Development and Peace members from the diocese, as well Development and Peace's National Council Representative for the BC/Yukon region, Dick Mynen, and myself, were privileged to participate in this joyous occasion.

We look forward to working with Bishop Jensen in carrying out the Church's mission and ministry according to our two-fold mandate:

• Education about issues of global poverty; and
• Actions of solidarity with the poor throughout the world.

May God Bless Bishop Jensen with many years as the good pastor of the Church of Prince George.
